General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
1. Scope
1.1. The general terms and conditions of Djurfysio Västanå & naturläkare apply to all legal relationships between Djurfysio Västanå & naturläkare, represented by Doris Träg (hereinafter referred to as “therapist”), and its customers.
1.2. With the initiation (application for treatment) and the start of treatment, the customer accepts the general terms and conditions. They form the basis of the contract content.
2. Treatment of the animal
2.1. The animal is treated to the best of our knowledge and belief using the means and knowledge available.
2.2. The therapist reserves the right to have the animal to be treated presented to a veterinarian and to view documentation of the diagnosis made there.
2.3. Before the treatment begins, the animal owner is obliged to provide truthful and complete information about the animal's health and to answer all of the therapist's questions truthfully. Changes in the state of health must be declared to the therapist before the start of treatment and during ongoing therapy.
2.4. The animal owner must ensure that his animal has sufficient vaccination protection. Proof of vaccination status must be provided to the therapist by presenting the vaccination certificate or EU-pet-passport.
2.5. The treatment and the therapy goal are carried out to the best of our knowledge and belief and are based on the individual needs of the animal, depending on its species, breed, age, gender and physical requirements. The options of the animal owner are also taken into account. In order to optimize the success of the treatment, the therapy methods can be adjusted during the course of therapy at the discretion of the therapist. Any additional costs incurred will be disclosed to the customer in advance.
2.6. The animal owner or a supervisor appointed by him must be present during the treatment.
2.7. The therapist is entitled to refuse treatment or to terminate treatment that has already begun without giving reasons. If the therapist discontinues the treatment, any follow-up treatments that have already been paid will be reimbursed.
2.8. Usually, methods are used in the field of naturopathy that are not recognized by conventional medicine. In individual cases, so-called initial reactions/initial worsening of the symptoms shown may occur. The animal owner is informed about this by the therapist and the choice of therapy methods is adjusted if necessary. The therapist does not guarantee the success of the therapy in the field of naturopathy or physiotherapy and does not make any promises of healing.
3. Appointments/cancellations
3.1. Agreed appointments are binding. They can be arranged by telephone, in person, by email, SMS or WhatsApp.
3.2. The treatment generally takes place on the premises of Djurfysio Västanå & naturläkare.
3.3. In exceptional cases and by prior arrangement, the treatment can take place at another location. In this case, the costs for arrival and departure must be paid by the animal owner.
Home visits may experience delays due to unforeseeable traffic disruptions or weather conditions. If the pet owner has left telephone number or mobile phone number, the per owner will be informed of the delay immediately, if possible.
3.4 If an appointment cannot be kept, it must be canceled by telephone, SMS or WhatsApp at least 24 hours before the appointment. There are no costs involved.
If an appointment is not canceled or is not canceled in a timely manner, the costs that would have been incurred, if the appointment had been carried out as planned, will be charged in full.
Payment for the default will be made at the latest at the next appointment or after the invoice has been issued.
If the cancellation is due to a medical emergency, the costs for missing the appointment can be partially waived after consultation with the therapist. The prerequisite for this is the provision of appropriate evidence.
If the appointment is canceled by the therapist, there is a binding right to an alternative appointment.
4. Costs and Payment
4.1 The therapist is entitled to a fee for his services, which can be found on the homepage.
4.2 Payment is made following the treatment in cash, by Swish or on account.
If the animal owner defaults on payment, a single reminder will be sent; the reminder fee charged is SEK 50.00. If payment is not made within the statutory deadline, the matter will be handed over to a debt collection agency without further notification and the legal dunning procedure will be used.
4.3 The customer has the option of paying in advance for a series of treatments. Agreed dates in this case are binding.
4.4 Discount cards must be paid for before the first treatment.
4.5 In the event of the death of an animal during an ongoing and prepaid treatment series (therapy plan/discount cards), the therapist can refund partial amounts as a gesture of goodwill. There is generally no entitlement to a refund.
4.6 Transferring discount cards to another pet owner and/or another animal is not permitted.
5. Disclaimer
5.1 The therapist assumes no liability for:
• the aids and devices purchased by the animal owners themselves and used for the treatment
• inexpert use of the aids and devices recommended by the therapist,
• improper, unprofessional or animal-friendly treatment of the animal by the animal owner
• the damage caused by the animal to, for example, premises, furnishings, equipment or the therapist himself
6. Release from professional confidentiality
6.1 The animal owner releases veterinarians and other therapists who treat the animal in question from their duty of confidentiality towards Djurfysio Västanå & naturläkare. Djurfysio Västanå & naturläkare is entitled to request diagnostic information from the veterinarian and consult on the treatment plan in order to optimize the therapy.
7. Changes to general terms and conditions and prices
7.1. Djurfysio Västanå & naturläkare is entitled to change the general terms and conditions and prices at any time.
